What life was like 100 years ago is that there was no technology and much of the modern inventions that help us now, the land was very different because there weren't as much pollution as today so it was much cleaner and the soil was much richer than now.
Life was very hard in the 1500's because as you know there was no technology to help us and there were a lot of hardships like sometimes there could be bad crops and that the people will starve.

The people who lived in the 1500's survived by farming and hunting things like deer, fish, vegetables and fruits there were not much people who lived by farming there were only Eastern Woodland Farmers. But there was a lot of people who lived by hunting like Eastern Woodland Hunters and plateau and so on. They hunt mostly deer and fishes like salmon.

The people who live where we are now are called Natives or aboriginal people they were people who lived in the 1500's. Natives lived in Canada but around 1560 or so the Europeans came and thought the Natives were indian so they forced them out with tricking the Natives in selling the land so basically the Natives were first then the Europeans but there are some Europeans that lived in canada way before the 1500's.

I wouldn't like to live in the 1500's because there were no technology to help us and it was really hard to live because it would take a long time for farming and what if something bad happened to the crops or the animals we won't be able to survive.
